Chanel is a sweet 8-pound girl, approximately born on May 30, 2018, who is discovering the joy of being loved for the first time. She spent her life on a breeding farm, with limited experiences outside of producing puppies and the company of other dogs. Upon arrival, she was understandably fearful of people, unfamiliar with affection, and unsure of life outside a kennel.
With patience, kindness, and the guidance of a canine companion, Chanel has blossomed! She now enjoys the company of children, cats, and other dogs, and especially loves playing with her foster sibling, showing off her playful terrier spirit. Chanel walks beautifully on a leash, eagerly exploring the world around her, and greets people and dogs with excitement. She has a special fondness for treats like apples and strawberries and has found her voice, letting everyone know when it's mealtime. When she's not exploring, she enjoys lounging and quietly observing, growing more comfortable with her family each day and even occasionally seeking out affection.
Ideal Home
Chanel would thrive in a calm home with patient adopters who understand the journey of a breeder-release dog. A resident dog would be a wonderful source of comfort and confidence for her. Most importantly, Chanel needs a family willing to celebrate her small victories and continue helping her blossom. Homes with children under the age of six are not a good fit.
