Taki

Taki is a handsome four-year-old Retriever mix who weighs about 42 lbs. He arrived at our shelter as a stray and has since shown himself to be a cool, calm, and nonchalant gentleman. Taki is an easygoing boy who walks great on leash, knows how to sit, and enjoys leisurely strolls outdoors or quiet naps dreaming of his future home. He's also a fan of a good bowtie, which perfectly suits his distinguished personality. Taki has been with us for a while and is ready to find his forever family!

Ideal Home

Taki would do best with a canine companion who respects his independent nature and is happy to give him space. He is a tall boy and can jump a fence easily if left unattended in a yard. Adopters with children are welcome.

Ongoing Health

Taki is heartworm positive, but with proper treatment, he can live a happy and healthy life. His adoption fee includes his treatment.

Training & Support

Taki already knows how to sit and walks well on a leash.

Transporation

Taki is located in Biloxi, MS. Transportation is available to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Transports are arranged for specific dates, typically within 1-3 weeks of approving your application. Adopters will meet at a designated meeting spot to pick up their new companions. Due to import regulations, we are not able to adopt to MA or RI residents at this time.
