Wolfie is a handsome and unique approximately 1-year-old boy who weighs 63 lbs. He's a very people-friendly pup who has shown no reactivity to cats or other dogs, and he absolutely loves children. Wolfie is an athletic and energetic boy, rating an 8 out of 10 on the energy scale. He truly enjoys activity, embracing life with joyful play. He is also incredibly affectionate, loving kisses, hugs, and snuggles, and he takes treats gently, even high-value ones! Despite spending a good portion of his life in isolation, Wolfie is very smart and in tune with communication, even sitting on command without any training. His striking, coyote-like coloring is a real head-turner, and his independent spirit often finds ways to make you laugh. He's well-behaved in the car and is house-trained in his kennel, keeping it clean. Wolfie has no known storm or separation anxiety and walks well on a leash once he's had a chance to explore his surroundings. He is extremely food-motivated, with a "no crumb left behind" mantra!

Ideal Home

Wolfie would do well with an active family or an individual or couple who enjoys activities like hiking. He's looking for someone eager to engage with him.

Training & Support

Wolfie has never lived in a house before, so he will need some time to adjust to indoor living. A slow introduction and consistent structure to his day will likely help him adapt quickly.
