Delaney Dawn PC

Delaney Dawn is a beautiful 1.5-year-old Blackmouth Cur mix with a platinum blonde coat that's growing in beautifully after a rough start in life. She arrived in our care from a shelter in very poor condition, with missing fur and skin issues due to severe neglect. Thankfully, with good food and care from her foster mom, she's gained weight, her bones are no longer protruding, and her fur is growing back wonderfully! Despite her past hardships, Delaney Dawn's heart is full of love and she's eager to share it. She makes friends easily with children and other dogs, but she has a firm "no cats allowed" policy. Her previous neglect meant she wasn't given heartworm prevention, and she tested positive. She is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm disease.

Ideal Home

Delaney Dawn would thrive in a home with children and other dogs. A home without cats is a must for this sweet girl. She's mostly potty trained when taken out on a regular schedule and enjoys sleeping in a people bed.

Ongoing Health

Delaney Dawn is currently being treated for heartworm disease with medication.

Training & Support

Delaney Dawn is crate trained, but she needs continued reinforcement with potty training on a regular schedule. She absolutely loves to sleep in the people bed!
