Mac

Mac is a charming Jack Russell Terrier mix with a heart of gold, despite his rough start. He was found by animal control, underweight and timid, but he's blossomed beautifully in our care. Mac is a playful pup who adores the company of other dogs and is also good with cats. He can be a little reserved around new people, but once he feels comfortable and safe, his friendly and affectionate side truly shines.

Ideal Home

Mac would thrive in a home where he can continue to build his confidence. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, so a home with existing furry friends would be a great fit.

Ongoing Health

Mac tested positive for heartworms and is currently undergoing a slow treatment protocol. His adopter will need to continue this treatment at home. He has been neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

While Mac is house-trained and friendly once he feels secure, he can be nervous around new people. Patience and gentle introductions will be key to helping him feel comfortable. His love for playing with other dogs is a great way to help him socialize and burn energy.
