Roxas

Roxas is a handsome 20-month-old German Shepherd mix, weighing 56 pounds and still growing. He's a sweet, goofy, and affectionate boy with a heart full of love, rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas. Roxas is eager to be part of the fun with his family but can be on guard with strangers. He still has plenty of puppy energy and is looking for a family to guide him with structure, training, and socialization to help him grow into a confident adult dog. Roxas forms strong bonds and truly wants to be a part of his forever family.

Ideal Home

Roxas would do best as an only dog, where he can receive all the attention. He needs an active home that can provide him with enrichment, adventures, and training to keep his mind and body busy. German Shepherd experience is required. A fully fenced yard is mandatory for his safety and exercise.

Ongoing Health

Roxas is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date with all vaccinations, including heartworm and flea prevention.

Training & Support

Roxas needs ongoing socialization and training to help him succeed. His foster parents, vets, and behaviorists have assessed him, and videos are available to observe his manners.

• The adoption fee is $600, which includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high-quality nylon Martingale collar, and a harness.

Transporation

Roxas is currently being fostered in Texas and can travel to any state, including Canada. The cost of travel varies between $250 - $400 depending on the destination.
