Jaxon

Jaxon is a sweet 10-year-old, 8 lb. Yorkshire Terrier mix who came to us with severe heart issues. His heart condition has progressed to the point where fluid is backing up into his lungs, and he's experienced a congestive heart failure episode. While he's on medication to manage his condition and keep him as stable and comfortable as possible, we're unsure of his exact prognosis. Jaxon absolutely loves to eat, and he's learned that medicine time means a tasty treat! He enjoys being with his people, whether he's curled up on your lap, beside you, or sleeping in the bed. He's friendly and will bark to greet new people.

Ideal Home

Jaxon would love a home where he can be close to his humans. Due to his medical condition, accidents can happen in the house, especially if he's left alone.

Ongoing Health

Jaxon has severe heart issues with fluid buildup in his lungs. He has undergone treatment for congestive heart failure and is currently on medication.

Training & Support

Jaxon is still working on house-training, and accidents may occur due to his medication. He also barks at new people.
