Sid

Meet Sid, a sweet and resilient boy who has faced more than his fair share of challenges. Sid was once adopted, but was sadly returned to us through no fault of his own. His previous family found themselves unable to provide him with the time he truly deserved, feeling it was unfair to leave him crated for extended periods. This loving decision meant Sid spent the next year and a half with us, becoming our second-longest resident. While the stress of shelter life took a toll, and he began to withdraw emotionally, Sid's kind spirit never wavered. Now that he's out of that stressful environment, he's starting to bloom! Sid can be a little reserved when you first meet him, but once he builds trust, he reveals his incredibly affectionate and loyal nature. He adores toys and finds immense joy in simple play. Sid would do best as an only dog or with other mellow canine companions. He is a large, male, adult Black Labrador Retriever mix who is neutered and vaccinated.

Ideal Home

Sid would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can finally receive the attention and peace he's been longing for. He needs a patient person who can offer him a few good toys and a soft place to land.
