Meet Misty!

Misty is a 2-year-year-old, 55-pound Great Pyrenees mix with a heart as soft as her fluffy coat. She’s on the quiet, shy side, but once she decides you’re in the club, she’s all sweetness. This is the kind of dog who will coexist politely with cats and make friends with other dogs without a fuss. She is probably best with kids past the screeching years.

Ideal Home

Misty's perfect home is one with a fenced yard (this is a non-negotiable) and a family who understands that quiet dogs are often the very best kind. She will thrive with kindness, patience, and a little time to bloom. A sofa to crash on is a bonus. She is probably best with kids past the screeching years.

Ongoing Health

Misty has a mildly collapsing trachea. This means she can’t use a collar with a leash. A chest-type harness keeps her safe and comfortable, and that’s what she’ll need for life. Other than the occasional cough if she’s clipped in wrong, it’s not an issue.
