Meet Rio! This handsome fellow looks like an Oreo cookie and has a personality to match his sweet appearance. Rio is a super fast learner who loves to train and will do just about anything for a tasty treat. He knows his name, sit, come, down, and can even do cooperative care and a hand target. Rio also loves to play fetch and tug. He's working on his dog-on-dog skills and would do best with a chill, sturdy dog friend his size or larger who isn't easily annoyed. He is not a fan of cats and needs a home without them. Rio is crate trained and enjoys car rides, though he's learning to be more comfortable with restraints. He's a lovable and active pup who enjoys zoomies, cuddling on the couch, and putting on a show with his antics. His foster mom, a professional trainer, is willing to offer guidance to ensure Rio continues on the path to being a good boy.

Ideal Home

Rio would do well as an only pet, or with a sturdy, chill dog of his own size or larger who can tolerate his enthusiastic play style. He needs a home without cats.
