Baloo is an approximately 5-year-old, 33 lb male Bull Terrier mix with a sweet, gentle, and loving soul. He's waited patiently for his perfect family and is ready to share his abundant love! Baloo is very affectionate and thrives on human companionship. While he might be a little shy when first meeting new people, he quickly warms up and will be seeking out pets, cuddles, and all your attention. He loves visitors and is happiest when surrounded by kindness. Baloo is a social butterfly who gets along well with other dogs, children, men, and women. He's not at all aggressive and is very respectful of other dogs' food, even when bothered.
Ideal Home
Baloo needs a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. He is not a fan of being crated, so a home where he doesn't need to be confined would be ideal. He can be distressed and vocal when crated, so we're looking for a home environment where he can be free.
Ongoing Health
Baloo has received a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, has been dewormed, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm. He is up-to-date on his monthly preventive protection for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. He also has a health certificate and vaccine booklet.
Training & Support
Baloo is potty trained for the yard and can hold it when indoors. He is nervous during car rides and needs some help learning to walk on a leash. He is terrified of fireworks and may chew on safe items to relieve stress or boredom. He can be vocal when hungry but is otherwise a joyful, playful, and funny companion. Patience, time, and gentle training will help him improve in leash walking and car rides, as he is smart and eager to please. Understanding that he may need an adjustment period is crucial for his success.

Transportation
Baloo is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. He is ready to travel to the East Coast of the United States. Door-to-door delivery is available for a transport fee of $400 USD.
