Meet Bessie, a delightful and utterly unique Pyrenees mix puppy who is sure to steal your heart! At 18 weeks old, Bessie is a bundle of joy, overflowing with social, sweet, and smart energy. She's a fast learner, eager to please, and already has crate training down pat. While she's still mastering some puppy manners, her enthusiastic participation in life is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Bessie is great with people, fantastic with children, and remarkably respectful of cats. Her happy, goofy nature has a way of making even the gloomiest days a little brighter. We're still pondering her exact breed mix – perhaps a touch of Pit, a hint of Pointer, or maybe she's a delightful blend of a tiny dairy cow and a cartoon character! Whatever her lineage, we know for sure that Bessie is funny, affectionate, clever, and destined to bring immense happiness to her forever family.
Ideal Home
A home that appreciates her unique charm and can provide a supportive environment for her continued growth. Patience and understanding as she navigates puppyhood are key.
Ongoing Health
Bessie is a healthy puppy. As with all puppies, regular veterinary check-ups are recommended to ensure her continued well-being.
Training & Support
Bessie is crate trained and eager to please, but she's still working on general puppy manners, which include enthusiastic participation and selective hearing! Prospective adopters should be prepared for the commitment of raising a puppy, which includes:
- Flexible schedules for potty training: Puppies can only hold it for one hour per month of age.
- Crate training: Until at least one year old to prevent chewing on inappropriate items when unsupervised.
- Socialization: Providing plenty of positive and varied experiences will greatly benefit her development.
- Patience: Puppies are equivalent to human toddlers and require at least a full year to mature into calmer, well-adjusted dogs. Consistent training, appropriate toys, and positive reinforcement will be rewarded.
