Meet Lucy Van Pelt, a 4-year-old, 45-pound husky with a heart of gold and a mind sharper than most! Lucy is incredibly smart, treat-motivated, and a fast learner, eager to continue her obedience training. She's already house-trained and has a devoted, loving personality. Lucy was rescued from a municipal shelter where she was at risk due to a manageable skin condition. Thanks to a loving foster family and a healthy diet, her skin is healing beautifully, and she's thriving. She's a vocal husky, especially when it comes to food, but she's a polite hostess who doesn't bark at visitors. Lucy is also described as devoted to her pack, including an older dog she lives with. She's great with other dogs and likely good with cats, making her a wonderful addition to a multi-pet home.

Ideal Home

Lucy thrives on a structured routine, including two 45-minute walks and a 30-minute exercise session daily. She would do best in a work-from-home environment or a household with other dogs to keep her company.

Ongoing Health

Lucy's skin condition is healing perfectly with a healthy diet. She is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.

Training & Support

Lucy is a quick learner and very responsive to training. She enjoys chew toys and frozen treats.
