Piper is a total lovebug who leans into hugs, nudges for attention, and sports an underbite that makes her look permanently thrilled. She's a social butterfly with dogs and loves to play rough-and-rowdy, making her a great companion for dogs who enjoy romping. Piper would love a yard for zoomies, but active apartment living is also an option. She's smart, eager to please, and very trainable, though she's currently more interested in exploring her surroundings than perfecting her leash skills.
Ideal Home
Piper would thrive in a home with an active family who can keep up with her playful energy. A yard would be ideal for zoomie sessions, but an active apartment lifestyle is also suitable as long as she gets plenty of walks and adventures. Piper is not a good fit for homes with cats, as she finds them too interesting. While she's gentle and loving with children, her enthusiastic hugs when excited mean a kid test is necessary to ensure everyone's safety and success.

Training & Support
Piper is eager to please and trainable, but she is still working on her leash skills and can get easily distracted by her surroundings. Guidance on channeling her excitement and reinforcing good leash manners will set her up for success.

You can track your pet's journey in real-time with photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
