Moonpie has spent time around a cat and, while she can start off calmly, she ultimately finds cats a little too interesting and engaging. For this reason, we are recommending a home without cats.

Moonpie is a smart, treat-motivated dog who already knows basic commands like "sit." She's also easy to walk on a leash and is crate and potty trained. Moonpie is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
