Mel Brooks

Mel Brooks is a sweet 10-12-year-old Chiweenie with a heart full of love. He came to us seeking safety and kindness, and though he had a frighteningly close call with the euthanasia list, his life was saved by incredible people who saw his potential. Mel has a gentle spirit and a hopeful gaze, as if he understands he's finally getting the second chance he deserves. He's wonderful with both dogs and humans, and his greatest desire is to be loved and to snuggle up with his favorite person.

Ideal Home

Mel would love a home where he can feel safe and cherished. He enjoys the company of other dogs and is great with people.

Ongoing Health

Mel is a senior dog who has been spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Mel is house-trained and eager to please. His main goal is to be loved and to spend time curled up with his people.
