Curd

Curd is an approximately 8-week-old Retriever mix puppy who has made it safely to Wisconsin and is now looking for his forever home! He and his brother, Jack, are the last of the "Cheese Litter" still searching for their perfect families. Curd is full of puppy curiosity, playful energy, and a wagging tail, always ready to explore and soak up attention. He has a sweet and friendly personality, and with his littermates, he's become well-socialized with other dogs. Curd should do well with respectful children and is likely to adjust well to cats with slow, proper introductions.

Ideal Home

Curd is a young puppy who will need a family committed to the fun and work that comes with raising a puppy.

Ongoing Health

Curd is too young to be spayed or neutered at this time. His adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Curd is not yet potty trained, crate trained, or leash trained. He will need patience, consistency, and lots of love to learn these new skills, along with basic manners.

• Approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.
• You will have a 5-day foster-to-adopt trial period to ensure Curd is the right fit for your family.
• A home visit will be conducted after the adoption process.
• Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin will reimburse up to $125 for the spay/neuter procedure once proof is received.
