Rory is a sweetheart who blossoms when she knows she is safe and loved! She's estimated to be around 5 years old and weighs about 57 lbs. Rory is likely a husky/lab mix, though this cannot be guaranteed as she is a rescue. She's a big fan of toys and enjoys playing fetch, though she might not always bring the ball back – it’s her way of taking a break! Rory is also a champion couch potato and loves to curl up in her favorite armchair to watch TV, where she’s known to let out quiet, contented snores. She's house-trained and will let you know when she needs to go out with a gentle whine and a pleading look.

Ideal Home

Rory would thrive in a home with a yard and would love a family with children. A home without cats is a must, as she has shown a strong prey drive towards them.

Ongoing Health

Rory is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccinations with a booster, Bordetella, and Rabies. She has also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea and heartworm prevention, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Rory has basic leash skills and is learning quickly in new environments. She's a rock star in her crate, settling down easily and sleeping through the night. She knows basic commands like "sit" and "lay down" and takes corrections well.

Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
