Very sweet and playful, loves all humans and dogs. Oro knows when it's time to chill and when it's time to play. He listens well and will make a great family dog.

Fully potty trained and making great progress with crate and leash training
Favorite Activities:
Going for walks and hikes, playing with other dogs, and spending time with his people
Looking For:
An active home with a person or a family to continue his puppy education and take him for walks and hikes. He can be an only dog or join other dogs in a family, and he loves kids, so having children in the home would be great, too!

BIO:
Hi there! My name is Oro, and I'm a 10-month-old Golden Retriever weighing about 27 pounds. I'm a healthy, happy boy and was recently neutered. My story started off a little ruff - I was rescued from the streets of Ensenada, where I had been chained beneath a truck outside a local bar. It's believed I had been hit by a car, and while the people there gave me time to recover, they knew I deserved a chance at a better life.
Thankfully, those difficult days are behind me! I'm an incredibly sweet, playful pup who loves everyone I meet, including adults, kids, and other dogs. My favorite things are playing, going for walks, and being close to my people - I'll happily follow you from room to room just to keep you company. The only thing I'm not a fan of is being picked up.
I'm already fully potty trained and am making great progress with my crate training. I'll settle in my crate if you're gone for more than an hour, though I may cry for awhile as I adjust. I'm also getting better on the leash every day and am eager to learn. I'm a great listener and truly just want to make my people happy.
Like many young pups, I have a little separation anxiety, but with patience, consistency, and lots of love, I know I'll continue to grow into a confident companion.
