Zeke

Meet Zeke! He's a big, goofy, and playful dog with a heart full of love, eagerly waiting to find his forever home. Zeke is a Black Mouth Cur, a working dog breed, and he thrives on having plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He adores playing with toys, whether it's chasing a squeaky ball or engaging in a game of tug-of-war. Zeke is also a social butterfly and has a friendly demeanor with other dogs, particularly females. He's a people-lover through and through, ready to shower his family with cuddles and kisses. While he's done well with older children, his size means he might accidentally knock over very young ones. Zeke is potty trained and has a dog door, preferring to do his business on AstroTurf. He also loves car rides and exploring the great outdoors at the park.

Ideal Home

A home with space to run and play, or a family committed to providing ample exercise and engaging activities. Zeke thrives on being part of the family and doesn't like being locked in a kennel, as a past traumatic experience has made him panic.

Ongoing Health

Zeke is up-to-date on all vaccinations and is microchipped.

Training & Support

Zeke is potty trained with a dog door and prefers AstroTurf. If a dog door isn't available, his new family will need to work with him to learn his potty alerts. He needs his mind kept engaged with tasks.
