Smores

Meet Smores! This energetic, 121 lb bundle of fun is a handsome Rottweiler mix with black and tan coloring. Smores absolutely loves to zoom around the play yard and his favorite toy is a rope, which you can often find him happily carrying around. He's a smart cookie too, and knows how to sit nicely and take treats gently! Smores did live in a home with other dogs previously, but sadly, they didn't get the attention they needed, which has led to some food guarding tendencies. However, since being with us, Smores has made great progress and now walks by other dogs without much fuss.

Ideal Home

Smores would do best in a home where his food guarding can be managed by keeping him separate when he eats. He has never been around cats or small children, so we recommend a home without them. He'll need a patient family who is willing to invest time in multiple visits to help him feel comfortable and build trust.

Smores is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Smores has some food guarding tendencies that need to be managed. He also needs time to get comfortable with new people. With patience and multiple visits, he blossoms into the sweetest boy!
