Meet Namor! This smart, energetic boy is looking for a home that will help him continue building his confidence while giving him plenty of opportunities to play and explore. Namor absolutely loves playing fetch, chewing on bones and toys, cuddling with his favorite people, going for car rides, and taking long walks. He's food-motivated and enjoys showing off his tricks for treats. He already knows commands like "sit." Namor lived with another dog in his previous home and did well, but he can be fearful when meeting new people and animals and needs time and patience to warm up. Once he trusts you, he's a loving and loyal companion. Because Namor has a high prey drive and enjoys chasing cats, he is ideally looking for a cat-free home. While he has chased cats and he has not harmed them, a home without feline friends is the safest fit. He also prefers not to be crated. Namor was with his previous owner for about a month before coming here, so he's still adjusting to all the changes in his life. He'll thrive with an active family that understands shy dogs, is willing to let him settle in at his own pace, and will continue providing positive training and enrichment.
