He's fully house- and crate-trained, doesn't chew things he shouldn't, and his love for food makes him a pleasure to train. He enjoys puzzle toys, cozy blankets, and just chilling with his furry friends. Mikey is a smart, happy, and easy-going pup who walks well on a leash. Mikey has successfully reached a healthy weight of 13 pounds after being treated for being overweight. He enjoys regular exercise and a quality diet.

Training & Support

Mikey is food and play-motivated, making him easy to work with. He is fully house- and crate-trained and non-destructive. An active daily walker is recommended to maintain his healthy lifestyle.

Completed adoption application
Basic background check for all adults in the household
Photo ID and proof of address required
All household members (adults & children) must attend at least one meet & greet
Home check required (may occur same day as adoption)
Current pets must meet the dog — compatibility is required
A processing/operation fee is due when scheduling meet & greets (covers background checks & travel costs)
Adoption fees are non-negotiable and listed on each pet’s profile
Minimum tax-deductible donation adoption fee due upon adoption
Adoption fees help cover a portion of rescue operating costs

Transporation

Mikey is currently with a foster home located in the state. Applicants must be willing to travel for meet & greets.
