Found abandoned, she clearly once knew love — she’s incredibly affectionate with people, loves car rides with the wind in her face, and is happiest curled up next to you on the couch. Buttercup has a playful, energetic side and would thrive in an active home that can give her both structure and love. She adores children and enjoys playing with them, though she sometimes forgets her size and might bump into little ones during play. Because of her past, Buttercup needs to be the only pet in the home. She is not suitable with cats and does not do well with other dogs. She will thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention, surrounded by people who understand her needs and can provide consistent guidance.
