Krockett

Krockett is a wonderful, approximately 1-year-old Labrador mix who weighs around 55 lbs. He was rescued in March 2024 and is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. Krockett is a happy, smiling, and very loyal companion. He's intelligent, playful, joyful, and always up for an adventure! Krockett would be thrilled to join an active family that loves spending time outdoors and enjoying various activities. He's already crate and leash trained and is a pro at car rides!

Ideal Home

Krockett would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard, where he can safely explore and play. He needs an active family who enjoys outdoor activities. Adopters should have an open mind regarding the needs of rescued animals, understanding that they require protection and education. Experience with dog behavior and training is highly desired, as is a high tolerance and patience for rescued pups. Please note, Krockett is not yet house-trained.

Ongoing Health

Krockett has undergone a comprehensive health protocol including: spay/neuter, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, a negative heartworm test, and a health certificate. He comes with a vaccination booklet.

Training & Support

While Krockett is crate and leash trained, he is not yet house-trained. Adopters should be prepared to continue his house-training journey. His foster team has put in significant effort to ensure his health and emotional well-being, and it's important for his new family to continue this supportive environment.

• A home check (virtual or in-person) will be conducted.
• A virtual meet and greet will be arranged with you, Krockett, and his foster family.
• A trial adoption period will commence with clear instructions for integration.

Transportation

Krockett is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. He is available for transport to the East Coast and the PNW. A transport fee of $250.00, paid by the adopter prior to departure, covers the service provided by a transport company.
