Meet Scout!

Some puppies steal your shoes. Scout steals hearts. If you've been looking for a puppy to grow up alongside your family, Scout may be your guy. This adorable young mix has settled beautifully into foster care and is proving to be everything people love about puppies. He's playful, affectionate, curious, and always ready to make a new friend. Scout loves playing with other dogs, meeting new people, exploring the yard, and stretching out in the sunshine for a good nap. At home, he's sleeping through the night in his crate, making progress with potty training, and has been an all-around wonderful houseguest.

Scout's DNA results revealed he's mostly Chihuahua and Dachshund with a small percentage of Beagle, and he's expected to be around 20-30 pounds fully grown. This little guy is the perfect mix of joy and cuteness. Since arriving in foster care, Scout has been thriving. He's sleeping through the night in his crate, gets along great with other dogs, and is happiest when he's outside basking in the sunshine. His foster says he's exactly what a puppy should be: sweet, curious, and full of personality.

Ideal Home

Scout would love a home where he can grow alongside a family. He enjoys playing with other dogs and meeting new people, so a social environment would be great for him.

Scout is a young puppy and is in good health.

Training & Support

Scout is crate trained and sleeping through the night. He is making progress with potty training. He is a curious and playful puppy who will thrive with continued positive reinforcement and socialization.
