Hi there, I'm Jace, a 55-pound bulldog mix with a heart full of love to give! I'm a big softie who adores snuggling, belly rubs, and head scratches. My intelligence shines through as I've already mastered "sit," "down," and "leave it," and I'm always eager to learn more, especially when treats are involved! My favorite pastimes include playing with my Kong, bones, and stuffed animals, and I really enjoy a good game of fetch (though sometimes I forget the "give it back" part!) and tug of war. I'm the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend to follow around the house and just chill with. I'm a bit of a goober and don't always realize my size, often trying to squeeze into laps to be closer to my favorite people.

Ideal Home

A home where I can be your one and only canine companion would be ideal. I get along well with cats, but they should not be around my food.

Ongoing Health

My left eye socket never fully developed due to an old injury, but it doesn't affect my vision or my cuddly nature. I have completed heartworm treatment. I am neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

I am potty and crate trained and walk beautifully on a leash. While I'm generally good with cats, I do exhibit food guarding behaviors. My past experiences have made me wary of other dogs, so I'd do best in a home without them.

Transportation

I'm currently located in Hampton, VA. I can be transported out of state for the right home, though a transport fee may apply if volunteer transport cannot be arranged.
