Georgey is an 11-month-old pup weighing approximately 32 lbs. He's a petite, adorable mix, likely Australian Kelpie with Lab or Catahoula. Georgey has been in foster care since March 2025, born on a ranch in South Texas where he and his brother, Johnny, were surrendered. He's a goofy, pleasing boy who loves to be accepted by other dogs and is more submissive than most. Georgey enjoys his toys and playing in the yard, and he's a relaxed, easy-going companion who loves to be around his people. He can get a little jealous when other dogs are playing and he's in his kennel, but his sad whimpers usually get him out to join the fun! Tough toys are a must for Georgey, as he loves to turn one toy into many pieces. He has met kitties and has no issues with them, and he adores children, strangers, and any human he meets.
Ideal Home
Georgey would love a home with another dog or dogs to play with, a kiddo pool full of water to relax in, and opportunities for walks to explore new things. He would truly be a great fit for most types of households.
Ongoing Health
Georgey has been fixed (spayed/neutered), is heartworm positive (he has received the 30-day course of antibiotics and needs to remain on heartworm prevention for 12-16 months and be retested then), is current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, microchipped, and current on de-wormer. He will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.
Training & Support
Georgey loves his toys so much that he decides it's much better to have 20 pieces of one toy than just one toy! Tough toys are definitely a must for young Georgey.

Transportation
Georgey is currently located in Texas. He can be transported to locations in the Central US and the East Coast. Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks:
