Mabel

Mabel is the definition of resilient love! At 9 years old and just 6 pounds, this tiny three-legged girl has overcome more than most ever should. When she was found, she had been hit by a car, lost a leg, was painfully thin, and had a severe eye ulcer. Despite all she's been through, Mabel chose joy! She has ulcerated eyes, so her vision and hearing aren't the best, and she also has a heart murmur. But don't let that fool you – she is happy and ready to find her forever home. Mabel is happiest curled up in your lap, soaking in every bit of love she can get. Her three legs have never slowed her down; she moves through life with determination and the sweetest little spirit. She bonds deeply to her person and just wants to feel safe, adored, and included.

Ideal Home

Mabel deserves a quiet, devoted home that will cherish her. She needs someone who understands her vision and hearing limitations. She does not love cats, but will tolerate them if they don't get in her face.

Mabel needs potty pads or frequent trips outside. She needs to be carried for outdoor visits as she is a princess!
