Daisy

Daisy is an incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate dog who has never shown any signs of aggression. She adores being close to her people and her favorite activity is cuddling up as close as possible. While she enjoys occasional playtime, she much prefers relaxing by her favorite people or soaking up the sunshine. She is described as being great with children, strangers, and other dogs. She has successfully lived with adults, young children, and a large female husky.

Daisy would thrive in a quieter home with fewer people, where she can receive the love, stability, and individual attention she craves.

Ongoing Health

Daisy has only one eye, as one was removed due to a ruptured cornea. She also has sensitive, dry skin and has experienced a yeast infection on one of her paws in the past, which can occasionally flare up if she licks the area.

Training & Support

Daisy has recently been struggling with increased activity and reduced one-on-one attention. This has resulted in behaviors such as barking throughout the night and at everyday noises, chewing household items, and having accidents indoors. Her previous owner described her as a calm, relaxed dog before these changes. She can still be startled by loud noises on walks but is otherwise easygoing.
