This 11-month-old, 45 lb Basenji mix is a true gem! Meli is a smart, bouncy love bug who has already completed agility training, showcasing her quick learning ability and potential for even more. She's wonderfully affectionate and loves to be close to her people, curling up at your feet after playtime. Meli is dog-friendly and enjoys playing with her canine friends, but she's also balanced enough to settle nicely indoors. She's a well-mannered and disciplined pup, completely potty trained, loves her kennel, and takes treats gently. Meli thrives on routine and remains quiet and calm when she has structure. She's very clean, enjoys her schedule, and appreciates slow introductions to new dog friends.
Ideal Home
Meli would thrive with an active companion or family who will embrace her zest for life, continue her training, and provide the structure she needs. A fenced yard would be ideal, and while she'd love a canine sibling to play with, she'd also be happy as the only dog in the home. Homes with children 10 years and older are recommended.
