Flacko

Meet Flacko, a handsome 8-month-old German Shepherd Dog mix who's about 40lbs and ready to win your heart! This certified good boy absolutely LOVES people and has shown great enthusiasm for making friends with other dogs of all sizes. He's even hoping to become best buddies with his foster cat, though he might be a little too energetic for some feline friends. Flacko is a quick learner who is eager to please, making him a joy to train.

Ideal Home

Flacko would thrive in a home with an experienced adopter who can help him navigate the world with confidence. He enjoys playing with his doggy friends and gets along well with his foster's 10-year-old nephew. While he's working on his manners like jumping and leash pulling, and would need supervision around smaller children, he's also a cuddle bug who loves showing his belly for pets. A yard for his energetic play and perhaps a pool for him to splash in would be a bonus!

Training & Support

Flacko is house and crate trained. He is working on puppy manners, specifically jumping and pulling on the leash, and would benefit from continued guidance and supervision in these areas.

Transporation

Flacko is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. He can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is found. Transports run every few weeks, and he will be on the next available transport after approval.
