Milo Pettibone

Milo is a 4-year-old, 55-pound yellow Lab mix with a heart full of love and a personality that's equal parts sweet, goofy, and endearingly quirky. He's a dog who thrives on routine and predictability, which helps him feel secure and allows his wonderful personality to truly shine. While he can be a bit anxious when left alone, his separation anxiety lessens as he learns his people always come back. Around the house, Milo is a calm and loyal companion, happy to lounge nearby. But when it's time for outdoor adventures, he celebrates with a signature, enthusiastic trot-bark! He enjoys playing with toys, getting his fresh air, and then happily heads back inside for a nap.

Milo thrives in a predictable environment where he can build trust and confidence. He needs a home that understands that building trust takes time and that routine is key to his security.

Training & Support

Milo is mostly housebroken but benefits from frequent potty breaks and a consistent schedule. He walks nicely on a leash. He is a counter surfer and needs consistent redirection. Milo gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing with them, but it's important to manage feeding situations separately to ensure peace, as he will enthusiastically defend his snacks if he feels threatened.
