Coal is a friendly, playful, and curious young boy with plenty of energy! He's athletic and loves walks and trips to the park. Coal is crate-trained and generally does well with other dogs, though he can be a bit selective and prefers to take his time getting to know new canine friends. He's a loving and loyal companion who would be a wonderful addition to an active family. We estimate Coal is around 5 years old. While we don't know much about his past beyond being rescued from the Borger, Texas pound, we do know he's incredibly eager to find his forever home.
Ideal Home
Coal would thrive in a home that can keep up with his energy and curiosity. He does need a home that understands he is dog-selective and will give him the time and space to meet new dog friends slowly.
Ongoing Health
Coal is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. He has tested negative for heartworm and has a recent fecal test.
Training & Support
Coal is crate-trained and walks well on a leash. He will benefit from continued socialization and slow introductions to new dogs.

- Your adoption fee of $500 includes neuter, vaccinations, negative heartworm test, negative fecal test, health certificate, registered microchip, and transport costs.
- Adoption interviews and meet-and-greets for Project Freedom Ride adoptions are conducted via video call.
- The adoption application and fee must be finalized and paid in full prior to receiving your dog.
