Roxas is a charming 20-month-old German Shepherd mix, weighing in at 56 pounds and still growing! He's a sweet, goofy, and affectionate boy who was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas. Roxas has a big heart and a vibrant personality, always ready to be a part of his family's adventures, though he can be a bit reserved with strangers. He's incredibly smart and eager to learn, and with the right guidance, he's sure to blossom into a confident and well-rounded companion.

Ideal Home

Roxas would thrive in an active home that can provide plenty of enrichment, adventures, and training. He needs a family that understands German Shepherd traits and is committed to ongoing socialization and structure to help him grow. Because he forms strong bonds, Roxas would do best as the only dog in the household, where he can soak up all the love and attention. A fully fenced yard is a must to ensure he has a safe space to play and explore.

Roxas is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations, including heartworm and flea prevention.

Training & Support

Roxas has plenty of puppy energy and enthusiasm, so he’ll benefit from consistent training and socialization to help him become a confident adult dog. He is eager to please and would do well with a family dedicated to his continued development.

Roxas is currently being fostered in Texas and can be transported to any state or even Canada to find his perfect match. Travel costs can range from $250 to $400, depending on the destination.
