Meet Dexter!

Dexter is a handsome Anatolian Shepherd mix, just shy of a year old and weighing in at 57 pounds. He's still growing into his paws and his even bigger personality! While he might look dignified in photos, Dexter's true purpose in life is to enthusiastically give hugs to everyone he meets. He's athletic, curious, playful, and smart, approaching the world with all the enthusiasm of a puppy and very little concern for personal space. Dexter can go from zooming around the yard to snuggling his favorite leopard print blankie in record time. One moment he resembles a majestic livestock guardian, and the next he's an oversized toddler eager to be included in everything.

Ideal Home

Dexter would thrive in a home where he can be included in all family activities. He does wonderfully with kids and dogs of all sizes.

Ongoing Health

Dexter is neutered and fully vaccinated.

Training & Support

Dexter is already housetrained. He has the boundless energy of a young dog, so continued positive reinforcement and opportunities for play and exercise will help him settle into his new home.
