About WONDER

WATCH MY VIDEO... Don't let his name fool you... there's nothing ordinary about Wonder! This handsome 3-year-old German Shepherd has an inspiring story and an even bigger heart. Wonder came to us from another shelter with a severely damaged right eye that could not be saved. Our medical team performed surgery to remove the eye, and he recovered like a champion. Best of all, he's now pain-free and feeling better than ever. Having one eye certainly hasn't slowed him down; in fact, Wonder doesn't seem to realize he's any different! He runs, plays, explores, and enjoys life with enthusiasm and confidence. This sweet boy is everything you could hope for in a companion. He's incredibly friendly, affectionate, and loves soaking up attention from everyone he meets. Whether you're petting him, offering him a favorite treat, or tossing him a toy, Wonder is happiest when he's spending time with his people.

Ideal Home

Wonder is an active, energetic dog who enjoys playing with toys and would love a family that can keep him mentally and physically engaged. Once he's had a chance to burn off some energy, he settles down beautifully and transforms into an expert cuddle buddy. One of his favorite things is climbing onto the couch beside you to snuggle up in your lap for some well-earned affection.

Ongoing Health

Wonder had surgery to remove a severely damaged right eye and has fully recovered. He is now pain-free.

Training & Support

Like many young shepherds, Wonder could benefit from a little leash training to polish his walking manners, but he's eager to learn and would thrive with positive reinforcement and consistency.
