About HORUS

MEET HORUS — OUR BIG, LOVABLE GOOFBALL

Found as a stray near railroad tracks with no houses in sight, Horus is yet another case of being in the right place at the right time. His finder knew he needed help and brought him to us so we could try to reunite him with a family, if he had one.

Like so many strays, Horus had no microchip and no ID tag. He completed his stray hold here and appeared on our website, but no one came to reclaim him. Now he’s ready to move forward and find the forever family he truly deserves.

Since arriving, we’ve learned that Horus is exactly what he looks like — a big, sweet, goofy soul. He recently met a slightly smaller spayed female and was thrilled to see her. He let her sniff him all over, then broke into enthusiastic play bows once the introductions were done. This boy is social, friendly, and eager to make new canine friends.

We always recommend meet-and-greets with other dogs and children to ensure a great fit. We do not have information on how he does with cats and have no way to test for that.
