Koda

Meet Koda! This handsome, goofy, and athletic boy has been patiently waiting for his forever family for 3 years. He's a ~4-year-old, 70lb retriever mix with a touch of Newfoundland, giving him both a love for fetch and strong protective instincts. Koda is incredibly smart and picks up new commands with lightning speed. He enjoys playing with other dogs, though his play style is a bit more robust!

Ideal Home

Koda thrives on one-on-one attention and is happiest when he's by his person's side or playing with his favorite ball. He's looking for a single, experienced dog owner who can provide him with structure, stability, and plenty of exercise. A home with a yard in a rural setting would be ideal, as busy environments with comings and goings can be challenging for him.

Koda is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Koda knows a variety of basic commands, including sit, down, wait, stay, leave it, come, play, and ball. He learns quickly and loves to engage in play. While he's not a chaser and shows little interest in running off or pursuing small animals, cats tend to be intimidated by him.
