Scarlett

Scarlett is a sweet girl who came to us from a difficult hoarding situation where she and 53 other dogs were rescued. She is extremely timid and unsure of new people and new experiences. Scarlett has never known the joy of playing with a toy, being held, or receiving affection, so it will take patience and time for her to build trust. She does, however, have wonderful news to share: she is already crate- and house-trained, heartworm negative, microchipped, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccinations!

Ideal Home

Scarlett needs a home with at least one other friendly, confident dog to help her learn and feel secure. She is not suited for a home with children.

Scarlett is healthy, heartworm negative, microchipped, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Scarlett is a blank slate when it comes to learning about the world and requires a patient adopter who understands she will need a significant amount of time and gentle encouragement to build trust and learn to enjoy everyday things.
