Meet Ernie, a ridiculously handsome chocolate Lab/Staffy mix who's as big and strong as he is a sweet, squishy love bug. Ernie has the happiest pittie smile, soulful amber eyes, adorable forehead wrinkles, and a personality that will keep you smiling every single day. He's a certified good boy, fully potty trained, crate trained, walks wonderfully on a leash, knows "sit," and has fantastic house manners. He's been living harmoniously with other large dogs in his foster home, proving what an amazing companion he is. Ernie's favorite thing in the world is his people; he simply wants to be wherever his favorite humans are, whether that's by your side on the couch or enjoying the weather on the patio. He's also a master splooter, performing this art form with commitment and flair! When he's not perfecting his signature move, he's likely parading his beloved giant stuffed toys around. Ernie is a social butterfly with other dogs and loves a good game of chase, but he also has an incredible off-switch, happy to cuddle up for a quiet evening. He was wonderfully gentle with children, showing an instinctive kindness.
Ideal Home
Ernie would do best in a home without cats, as they seem to be a little too exciting for him.
