About Teddy Bear Built for Snuggles

There's something truly special about Teddy Bear. Perhaps it's his petite size, his endearing little face, or the way he gazes at you with those innocent puppy eyes, as if he's still discovering the wonders of the world. Whatever it is, this little guy has a knack for making everyone he meets feel an immediate urge to scoop him up, shower him with affection, and cherish him.

Teddy possesses a gentle spirit that's impossible not to fall for. He's sweet, calm, and affectionate, perfectly content to bask in cuddles before happily trotting off to play with a toy. While his siblings might be showcasing bolder personalities, Teddy quietly wins hearts by simply being himself. There's a certain peacefulness about him; he's the puppy you find yourself checking on, simply because he's so incredibly precious.

This sweet boy, Teddy, is approximately 2 months old and weighs around 10 lbs. We suspect he might be a German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix, but as with any rescue, his exact breed is a delightful mystery! Teddy is currently flourishing in a foster home, where he's beginning to explore his world through play, naps, mealtime routines, and gentle socialization. His days are wonderfully simple: chase a toy, tussle with his siblings, eat, nap, and then do it all over again. Teddy is exactly as his name suggests – gentle, sweet, affectionate, and an altogether easygoing companion. He enjoys playing with toys and joining in on puppy antics with his siblings, but his naturally calmer demeanor is already starting to shine through. He's the puppy who reminds you to pause, scoop him up, and savor the precious moments of puppyhood. Being the smallest of the litter has its advantages, as everyone seems to dote on Teddy a little extra. His innocent expression and gentle nature make it hard to pass him by without a cuddle. If quiet snuggles are just as important to you as playtime, Teddy will easily find a place in your heart.

The puppy stage is fleeting, but it's one of the most rewarding adventures. Witnessing Teddy discover new things, celebrate his small victories, and grow into the dog he's meant to be will be a daily joy for his future family. There's truly nothing quite like raising a puppy who has been loved from the very start.

Ideal Home

Like all puppies, Teddy will need a family ready to guide him through his important growth stages. A home that can provide continued socialization, training, routine, structure, and plenty of positive experiences will help him blossom into a confident, well-rounded adult dog. We also require adopters to begin crate training immediately, as it aids in potty training, establishing healthy routines, building confidence, and creating a safe haven all his own.

Ongoing Health

Teddy is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vetting.
