Anna

Meet Anna, a very sweet and loving mixed-breed adult, estimated to be about 2 years old and under 10 pounds. We think we see a mix of some Yorkie, some Shih Tzu, maybe a touch of Dachshund, and who knows what else! She was picked up as a stray in Texas and was so terrified at the pound that they were ready to euthanize her, but one of our volunteers pulled her just in the nick of time. Anna immediately showed what a darling dog she truly is. She is housebroken, well-behaved, and has gotten along with dogs of multiple sizes. She is perfect in every way, except one – she hates a crate, but has proven that she does well left out while her person is gone. We are looking for a foster for Anna for about a month until her spay appointment. The foster family must be willing to bring her to her spay appointment in Ellicott City, MD. Foster families will be given priority consideration for permanent adoption after her spay.

Ideal Home

Anna would thrive in a home where she can be a beloved member of the family. She does not like crates, but does well when left out when her human is away.

Ongoing Health

Anna is scheduled for a spay appointment in approximately one month. The foster family will need to transport her to this appointment.

Training & Support

Anna is housebroken and well-behaved. She has shown that she does not like crates but is comfortable being left out unsupervised.
