Meet Rac! This handsome 62 lb Husky Mix with adorable raccoon-like markings was born around March 11, 2023. Rac is an incredibly outgoing and happy boy who loves to play with his canine pals and enjoys his foster dad's playful interactions. He's always up for a long walk or a new adventure, and while getting into a car can be a bit hesitant, he truly enjoys the ride once he's in! Rac can be a little shy at first, but with some patience and trust, he becomes a loyal best friend. He was rescued from the harsh winter freeze, having no shelter and being fed by a kind neighbor. Thankfully, his foster dad stepped in to give him a loving home. Rac even spent some time with a trainer to help him adjust to indoor living. He's doing wonderfully in his foster home with his dog siblings, though he's a bit too energetic for kitties. His foster dad describes him as very sweet and a big fan of attention.
Ideal Home
Rac would thrive in an active home where he can go on hikes, play with energetic dog friends, and snuggle with his loved ones. He enjoys trying new things and is great in the car!

Rac is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can be arranged to various locations in Eastern, Western, and neighboring states. Pick-up locations may vary. You will be able to track your dog's transport via the Life360 app and Facebook chats.
