About Cleo

Cleo is a 4-year-old, approximately 30 lb, female Labrador mix who was rescued in November 2023. She was found in the street with a leg fracture and, while it healed well, she walks a little crooked. This doesn't slow her down, and she's a happy, grateful, and loving girl who is perfectly fine! Cleo is loyal, calm, and well-behaved, and she enjoys car rides, walks on leash, and is crate-trained.

Ideal Home

Cleo would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys daily walks or hiking. She needs a family willing to give her at least 3 months to show her best personality, as she is shy and needs time to adjust. Experience in dog behavior and training, along with high tolerance and patience for rescued animals, is important. She is not house-trained.

Ongoing Health

Cleo is spayed/neutered, vaccinated for DHPPI, rabies, and bordetella, and has been dewormed. She has tested negative for heartworm and 4DX, and is on monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. She has a health certificate and vaccine booklet.

Training & Support

Cleo is not house-trained and will require dedicated effort to help her learn. Patience and understanding are key, as she is a rescued dog with a history of trauma.
