Meet Fritz!

Fritz is a spunky, fun-loving German Wirehaired Pointer mix, approximately 8 weeks old. He was found as a young puppy after a close call on the street, and now he's thriving and showing off his charming personality. Fritz is expected to grow into a sturdy dog around 50+ lbs. He's intelligent, curious, and loves a good puzzle or enrichment toy. Fritz is already learning to come when called and is working on his "sit." He's eager to please and highly food-motivated, making training a joy. Like many puppies, he's teething and can be a little mouthy, so supervision is key, especially around younger children, as he learns his boundaries. Fritz is incredibly loving, friendly, and social, doing wonderfully with people, children, and other dogs.

Ideal Home

Fritz would thrive in an active home that can provide him with consistent training, enrichment, and plenty of love. A family prepared for continued crate training and the structure that puppies, especially those from working breeds, require will be ideal. He's an early riser and enjoys starting his day around 4:30 AM.

Ongoing Health

Fritz is fully vaccinated for his age, dewormed, microchipped, and on monthly flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Fritz is eager to learn and food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. He is currently working on learning "sit" and continues to learn how to sleep independently, so continued crate training and puppy structure are important.

Transporation

Our primary rescue is based in Houston, Texas, but we work with foster homes in multiple regions. Transport is available to approved adopters for an additional fee.
