Valentina was born on January 14, 2026, in a foster home after her mom was rescued while pregnant and recovering from being hit by a car. She was the first of four siblings to enter the world, and from day one, she has shown just how special she is. At just 5 months old, Valentina will grow to be a medium-sized dog. She is sweet, intelligent, and thoughtful. She likes to take her time getting comfortable with new people and situations, but once she feels safe, she becomes the most loving companion you could ask for. She is the kind of dog who follows you around the house, lies beside you while you work or relax, and simply enjoys being near her person. She loves belly rubs, playing with her siblings, and keeping an eye on everything happening around her. She also has a protective side and will always let you know when something catches her attention.
Ideal Home
Valentina would thrive in a home with people who have previous dog experience and can provide a calm and stable environment. She would do best without young children or cats. Friendly, well-balanced dogs are welcome, and she would prefer a house with space where she can feel comfortable and secure. Small families or individuals who enjoy a quieter lifestyle would be a great fit. Valentina is looking for a perfect family that understands her sensitive nature, respects her space, and gives her the chance to become the loyal companion she is meant to be.
Ongoing Health
Valentina is currently 10 kgs.

Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- If your application is approved, the adoption coordinator will collaborate with flight companions to arrange transport.
Transporation
Valentina is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We can arrange transport to the US and Canada. For Canadian adopters, it can be challenging to secure flight companions during summer months, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight companion is unavailable. We have successfully completed many adoptions over the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border, which remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward.
