Junebug

Junebug, or Junnee as we affectionately call her, is as sweet as they come! This gentle girl has left her difficult past behind and is ready to start the happy life she deserves. Junnee was found as a stray, hidden in tall weeds in Southern Virginia. She was covered in ticks and scabs, but her kind and loving spirit never faded. Although she tested negative for tick-borne diseases, she's being treated as a precaution and is doing wonderfully. Junnee is a quiet, affectionate companion who simply wants to be close to her people. She's crate trained and has decided that snuggling up with her foster family at night is much better than sleeping in her crate. Now, she sleeps peacefully through the night in bed, proving she's a world-class cuddle buddy! She enjoys playing with toys, gets along well with other dogs, and has a calm, gentle nature that makes us think she'll do well in most situations. Junnee comes when called and is about 90% house trained as she continues to learn her routine. Junnee is the kind of dog who will be your loyal shadow, your favorite snuggle partner, and your faithful best friend. She is thankful she was rescued and now all she needs is a forever family to call her own.

Ideal Home

Junnee would love a home where she can be close to her people and snuggle up at night. She gets along well with other dogs and has a calm, gentle nature that suggests she'll do well in most situations.

Ongoing Health

Junnee tested negative for tick-borne diseases but is being treated as a precaution. She is doing wonderfully and this treatment is ongoing.

Training & Support

Junnee is crate trained and about 90% house trained. She comes when called.
