Jenny is a happy-go-lucky 2-3 year old mix of Foxhound, Whippet, Pointer, and Jack Russell Terrier. She came to us after being hit by a car when she was young. After enduring two hip surgeries and extensive recovery, Jenny is ready to find her forever home! Despite her past, Jenny is always on the lookout for adventure, especially bunnies and squirrels. She enjoys playing with other dogs, though she can be a bit overwhelmed by very boisterous ones. Jenny is well-behaved and house-trained, though she does have some urgency when she needs to go outside. She walks well on a leash and loves exploring the neighborhood.
Ideal Home
A home where Jenny can thrive, with owners who understand her special needs. While she enjoys playing with other dogs, homes with very rough or overly energetic large dogs may be too much for her.
Ongoing Health
Jenny has had two hip surgeries and will require joint supplements. She may eventually need support for her back, such as a wheelchair. Owners should be mindful of extended walks on concrete, as this can cause her back legs to drag and may require special care.
Training & Support
Jenny is crate-trained and house-trained, though she has urgency when needing to potty. She walks well on a leash.
