A little about them
Jenny is a delightful 2-3-year-old mix of foxhound, whippet, pointer, and Jack Russell terrier! She's a happy-go-lucky girl with a nose for adventure, always on the lookout for bunnies and squirrels. Jenny is incredibly resilient, having undergone two hip surgeries after being hit by a car in her first year. Despite her past, she's a social butterfly who gets along well with other dogs and has been great with children and the cat in her foster home. She's crate and house-trained, though she does have a bit of urgency when she needs to go outside. Jenny walks well on a leash and loves to explore the neighborhood. After over a year in foster care, she's ready to find her loving forever home!
Ideal Home
Jenny enjoys playing with other dogs but can be a bit overwhelmed by overly rough, large dogs. While she does well on grass, prolonged walking on concrete will require some extra care to prevent her back legs from dragging.
Ongoing Health
Jenny has a history of hip injuries and has undergone two surgeries. She will need joint supplements and may require supportive care, such as a wheelchair, for her back in the future. She also has urgency when needing to potty.

Jenny is well-trained with her crate and house-training. She walks well on a leash.

Transportation
Our dogs are fostered in the NJ/NY area. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Arrangements will be made for transport once an application is received or an adopter is interested.
