About Queenie

Meet Queenie, a three-year-old Retriever mix who's ready to steal your heart with her one-eyed wonder and a dash of sass! At 55 lbs, Queenie may have lost sight in one eye, but her spirit is as adventurous and endearing as can be. She's a perfect blend of energy, charm, and just the right amount of diva attitude. Queenie loves her walks but might pause for a spontaneous flop, because, well, she's Queenie! While she's not a toy enthusiast, she adores playtime that involves wrestling with her canine pals and soaking up your affection. She can be a little timid at first, but a few belly rubs and she'll be your best friend. Queenie enjoys a good romp in the yard and would thrive in a home with plenty of space to explore. If you have an active lifestyle, she'd be your ideal companion for hikes and runs. Keep an eye on her, as her curiosity might lead her to dig or test boundaries, but she's not a runner – just an explorer! She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, enjoying playful but gentle rough-and-tumble. Queenie is the perfect mix of playful, affectionate, and sassy, ready for life's adventures and endless snuggles.

Ideal Home

Queenie would thrive in a home with a big space to explore and an active lifestyle. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended.

Ongoing Health

Queenie has lost sight in one eye.

Training & Support

Queenie can be a little timid when meeting new people but warms up quickly. She has a stubborn streak when it's time to leash up and has been known to dig or find her way out of containment if her curiosity gets the best of her.
